LabourUp is a labour law, HR and industrial relations consultancy proving a range of services.

Labour Law

CCMA Representation

Our Directors

Larry

Larry Dave is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is registered with the Legal Practice Council. Larry has right of appearance in the High Court, is a member of the South African Society of Labour Lawyers and a member of the International Society for Labour and Social Security Law. Larry advises various corporate entities and listed companies on employment law and related issues.

Larry has appeared on various television and radio talk shows including Business Day TV, Radio 702, and Rights and Recourse. Larry has lectured in labour law and is a guest lecturer at Wits university. Larry also sits on the Labour Court’s pro bono project. Larry has been involved in various high profile cases before the Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court and Constitutional Court and has many reported decisions published in the South African Industrial Law Journals.

Rene

Rene is an attorney of the High Court of South Africa, is registered with the Legal Practice Council and has right of appearance in the High Court. Rene advises companies on general and complex corporate and commercial matters. Rene also manages overlapping commercial and labour matters and brings 12 years excess of expertise in her field. Rene holds an LLB and a BA Psychology Degree both from the University of Johannesburg (previously RAU University).

Rene is an excellent negotiator and meditator and often finds solutions to complex legal issues for her clients. Rene has defended high value claims by employees against their employers and has an excellent track record.
